Happy New Year! We’re starting 2021 with a new beginning. And what is a new beginning without goal setting? Here are the ways our past featured women (who’ve accomplished their goals!) set their goals:
- Define your goal.
Ask yourself: “What do I want for myself?”
2. Find out what that goal (accomplished) would look like.
Ask yourself: “Where would I be? What would I be doing? What would that goal achieved look like?”
3. Create steps.
Ask yourself: “What steps can get me there?”
4. Take step one.
Ask yourself: “What should I do to make the first step easy and achievable?”
5. Take step 2. Stay consistent. AKA: Keep going.
Ask yourself: “How will I keep myself motivated to keep going?”
6. Make changes as necessary. Maybe you redefine your goal. Maybe you have a new goal. Maybe you forget a step or you need to try again.
Ask yourself: “Is this what I really want? If yes, get back on track. If no, figure out what you want and start again at #1.”
